Run far away as fast as possible.
My daughter played 10U and 12U (3 years total) The last year I was the manager in charge of setting the budget with the coaches and collecting the money, receipts, writing checks, withdrawls for pay at the plate money ect. You need a team manager. You need one or two team moms to help with uniforms and coordination.
Have your try-outs select a team and stick to them. Don't fall into the trap of some "hot shot girl" wants to join the team mid "season" Typically fall and spring/summer are considered two different seasons. No matter how good they are if they are trying to jump teams mid "season" there is a problem. Plus are you going to cut a girl mid season to "make room".
At this age having a pitcher that can get the ball over the plate consistently is key. If there is a girl with a change-up, riser, ect great but you are better off with a girl that throws the ball consistently over the plate in the strike zone than a girl that throws three different pitches that hit the zone 1 out of every 4 pitches. You also need a decent catcher since they can and will steal at this age. Doesn't need the best arm but needs to stop most balls. Again a consistent pitcher helps the catcher out. It sucks to watch a 30 min half inning (in an hour long game) with 14 walks.
Don't pick too many girls. The first year my daughter played they had 16 which was way too many. Girls get left out and the parents don't like traveling and spending $800+ to watch their kid ride the bench. This is travel ball and the point is to win not make sure everybody has equal playing time.
I could give you much more advise but really just run.

1. Provide detail expense report every month or two.
2. Charge and receive the fees up front..go over rather than under, allow parents the ability to pay over a few months if needed
3. Institute the 24 hour rule and abide by it regarding discussions about playing time, disagreements and all the other bullshite.
4. Propose the tourneys a month in advance if a drive of an hour or longer is needed
5. Explain to parents you won't except embarrassing behavior and you will remove players due to parents actions.. If they are attending a game or practice then they are a fan of the game, the team and the sport..
6. Institute the 20 ft rule during games.. When the kid goes into the cage they are not to be bothered unless the coach needs something.. Provide ample liquids and potential snacks before the game begins..
7. Parents are not to stand behind home plate if their child is pitching or batting..
