It's trashy to not make your bed every day.

I partially make the bed, so to speak. I pull up the sheet then the cover/blanket up to the pillows, then fold back the sheet over the cover/blanket and that's about it.

My bed is made only once a week when I wash my sheets

Nope; I slept on top of a fully made rack for 15 years in the service and refuse to make my bed daily anymore. I keep my side of the bed the way I like it, well slept under and rolled around in, and my wife straightens up her side the way she likes it. We make it fresh when we do laundry or have company coming over that may need to use the master bath.
