Do you see Sanders putting up the same numbers Decker did in that offense last year?

I think he can match Deckers yardage but I can't see him grabbing that many TDs.

Either way he's definitely someone you want on your team. They're gonna light up the scoreboard again this year and he's at very worst a WR3.

I can see him taking catches away from Welker.

The other dude is going be a nice red zone target. I forget his name. Caldwell?

Don't sleep on Cody Latimer.

6'2" 215
4.38 40
39" vert
23 reps of 225

Big, athletic WR with good hands. 72/1096/9 at IU last season.

Manning DGAF about feeding any certain WRs. If Latimer comes in and knows all of his routes and proves to be reliable, he could blow the roof off of DEN with Manning feeding him the ball. Even in 4 wide sets, just think of all the attention Welker, DT88, and Sanders will command. Julius Thomas, too. Latimer could be in line for some sneaky production.

Decker pretty much put up WR1 numbers last season with the double digit touchdowns. I don't envision Sanders doing that so no, because of that, I see Sanders with solid WR3 production.

I think we're going to see Montee Ball with a monster year scoring touchdowns.

Decker has been a top 10 WR the last two seasons. He's being drafted outside the top 25 WRs

he could probably come kind of close. But I doubt that he would ever go on a tear like Decker did.

i mean after he kind of started slow last year, Decker went the hell off in the last quarter of the season.

did a lot of damage in just one game against the Chiefs catching for over 170 yards and 4 TDs.

question is.... do you think Sanders can be consistent (I say no) or will he have to have just a few big games this year to get into respectable final numbers?

I think Decker was a solid WR and Sanders is a bit of a downgrade. Decker was kind of sneaky gaining yards after the catch. Short passes or long passes. He just seems like a more well-rounded WR than Sanders. Bigger and stronger... but probably not as quick as Sanders.

Knowshon scored 13 total touchdowns last season. I can see Ball with 15+ so yea, he certainly looks like one right now. He should easily be a 1,000+ rusher and will catch a lot more passes as well.

I don't know how much stock I'd put in this. In my 4 leagues last season, he was drafted in top 20 in every single one. He primarily went in the 4th and 5th rounds.

He's being projected that high bc he's got Geno Smith throwing him the ball.

I could be wrong about Montee, but I ain't drafting him in the 1st round.

oh, that sucks man.

i've been there before. Justin Blackmon tore up the Texans one week (his rookie year) and I had him sitting because i thought it was just a bad matchup.

Sanders will get his though. Especially if Welker has some concussion issues again this year. He's 33 and he did miss 3 games last year. Maybe that is why Decker started to emerge down the stretch... who knows?

I misinterpreted his post. I see what he was saying now.

I've thought Decker has always been good, just plagued by mediocre QB play, lost among many WRs, etc. Last year he was awesome, rode he and Marshall to a championship when all my RBs busted (Rice, Miller, Wilson). I think decker is a typical WR2, but Manning's absurd year vaulted him to WR1.

Sanders is good though too. I don't think he'll be Decker good, but you never know. I like both in mid-later rounds.

I heard E. Sanders on Jay Mohr's sport show yesterday. From his interview, and reading people closely associated with the Broncos talk about him, he's going to surpass anything Decker ever did there. Sounds like he already has a great repor with Manning and the rest of the offense. If Decker was burning defenses down field, this guy will shred them. Could be a nice sleeper in a lot of drafts as a WR2-3. I'm buying.
