I think there is like one left but Skynyrd still jams. Very fun show.

Yeah, the current lineup puts on a great show. That's how I ended up seeing Drivin' N Cryin' so many times.

saw RATM once, and it was a good show. fortunately, they were opening for U2, so i didn't have to worry about inadvertently green-lighting myself.

i guess my pick would be rusted root. saw 'em in '98 at a festival in birmingham, enjoyed their set, but had/have no desire to see 'em again....

My dad saw Skynyrd open for The Rolling Stones back in 70's before anyone knew who Skynyrd was and he said Skynyrd blew the Stones off the stage. He said they only played a 45 minute set but it was one of the best 45 minutes of music he'd ever seen live.

I'm curious, could you list or describe the venue at which you saw each band .. like Festival, Arena, Club (Varsity-like).

I often wonder if a band I enjoyed at a festival

... would I feel differently if I had seen them at better venue?

It is a combonation of all 3. Some of them I've seen in different venues and still left with no desire to see again.

But I understand what you're suggesting because the atmosphere of the venue and crowd have a huge effect on the show
