What type of sod to use?

I am building a house in Baton Rouge. What type of sod would y'all recommend I use? St. Augustine, centipede, other?

What is the shade like on the lot? Tall homes, close together with privacy fences? Big trees?

Zero lot line subdidivsion. Lots of shade on sides, but the front yard will get direct sunlight.

I used Centipede at my house last year, because it requires the least mowing.
The parts of the yard that get more Shade, have done great and stay very green. The direct sunlight areas, not so much. They take a lot of water to keep from browning up.
