Yes, look at that link on the first page. It has tons of info and there are some discounts also that will save money for most... I think we also get a discount for having a full lodge.

My Pops probably has a friend that will probably fill the tenth spot.

My labs wont hold point on a pheasant, I am guessing we can walk them up and shoot them or were you planning on hunting a huge hunting party?

We will look at each piece of land and decide... The labs are a flushing breed, they just kind of nudge birds in the air and keep them from slipping between the hunters or hiding in the grass and let the hunters walk pass them...

Ha. We will have places to hunt ducks on the property we just won't know till summer who was drawn for SD waterfowl. in ND you can buy waterfowl over the counter.
The thinking is, if we feed the farmer well he will make phone calls to his neighbors if the ducks are not on his place. The corn cutting will also have an impact on where and what the ducks and pheasants are doing. Pheasant won't open till noon so we have the mornings to sleep in or hunt ducks...

Wick is there a group draw for the waterfowl tags? Those usually have better odds.

My understanding from reading on the SD wildlife and fisheries is the licence is good for 10 days. You have enter your first and second choice weeks. They automatically group you based on these dates.
