Check out "Hogs For The Cause"...March 28-29...New Orleans City Park

Hogs For The Cause is a non-profit organization that hosts an annual music and food festival at New Orleans City Park to raise money for pediatric brain cancer care. Each year over 80 teams will compete to be crowned the Louisiana pork champion. Attendees are invited to vote for help choose the winners by donating to their favorite team by sampling their food. While teams battle it out on the grill, music will be playing throughout the day and into the night.

The purpose of Hogs For The Cause is to provide aid and relief of those variable expenses and economic burdens which families face while their child is being treated for pediatric brain cancer. Hogs For The Cause will operate as the premier funding source for pediatric brain cancer outreach services in the United States.
While money devoted to pediatric cancer research is dwindling, there is an even bigger void in the periphery and variable expenses associated with cancer treatment. We will fill this void. Hogs For The Cause will take care of the small things, so families can worry about the big thing.

Y'all that are going be sure to check out the Ubons BBQ. My family's Yazoo restaurant comes up with some pretty wild stuff, and they'll have their new Bloody Mary mix flowing freely.

Thought it was a harley event and was about to post the South Park kids yelling figs. 
We used to do a chilli event here in Mobile for breast cancer every year that sounds very similar. If the weather was good it was always great.May I offer an Sioux prayer for the event.
Oh Great Spirit, Our Father, help us and teach us in the way of the truth; and keep me and my family and my tribe on our true father's path, so that we may be in good condition in our minds and in our bodies. Teach all of the little ones in Your Way. Make peace on all the world. We pray to you for the sun and the good weather again; and we hope they will bring good crops of grass for the animals and things to eat for all peoples and our event.

Anyone going please be sure to come find TEAM WILD HOGS!!! We are the reigning fan favorite champion. Listen for the train horn and you can find us. We have an awesome booth to check out as well.
