Barry Lamb was coaching LBs but is likely out due to medical reasons. left team just after about 8 games.

DL/Co-DC was just offered DC job at San Jose St where he has coached out that way before and HC at San Jose I think was a guy that gave him a shot in the biz early on.

QB Coach Mike Neu was rumored to be headed to Redskins due to relationship with Gruden but seemed he didnt want to move and now heavy rumors that he will be Saints next QB coach where he previously worked as a scout after being HC of NOLA Voodoo.

Couple other coaches have had multiple offers but have stayed for now.

ADDED: CJ and Cleveland Browns rumor.

Looks like CJ did a good job of building a staff if they're in that high of demand. I wonder if his NFL connections will keep that going?

Better hope they can keep CJ. His NFL connections could land him back in the NFL.

Was a rumor last night about CJ and the Cleveland Browns job.

Pretty sure Sumrall got this exact offer a year ago, Tulane also gave him a pay raise after this season.

@TheBSKsays: Remember this name: Curtis Johnson, former New Orleans WR coach, now HC of Tulane.
Don't know who this guy is, but he went on to say CJ could be a HC or OC candidate in Cleveland.

I don't think CJ would leave Tulane for an OC position.
Head Coach? He gone!
But I don't think he's done enough at Tulane to be offered a Head Coaching position in the NFL.

God bless and congrats to CJ if he can get a NFL head coach gig.

I can't imagine Sumrall going to San Jose of all places; not a promotion, not many resources there. And he's from Alabama.

This is why CJ is a good coach. He knows how to be a CEO.

fwiw Sumrall was at San Diego before Tulane and one of his good friends or even a mentor is the one that is the HC at San Jose.

I know. But it's a lateral move (if that) and he'd be moving away from his roots. Maybe they can pay him, but those cal state schools are budget-limited and San Jose doesn't sell many tickets.
Maybe he likes California, I don't know.

When the NFL calls on CJ I'll be a huge fan of his, but until that happens...he'll remain a Tulane guy

Some guy's tweeting Cleveland looking at him for OC. Don't know what those pro OCs make or anything else about it.

Cleveland hired a defensive minded head coach. ZERO chance they hire a guy who has never called plays as their OC. Although we are talking about the browns here........

look at how poor our receivers have performed without him on staff. He doesn't need to take an OC position to get a NFL HC job, look at his resume.

A lot more than come to our games. But we have a lot more financial resources, which is the point.
