My idea for a more in depth and engaging fantasy baseball league.

My friends and I have been hashing out ideas for a more serious Fantasy Baseball League. I had a few ideas that I thought I could get some quality feedback from some of the posters on this board.
It's a little lengthy but here are some of the main points.

-The league will use players real life salaries for each season, you can keep up to 5 players each year.
This adds another dimension to the draft, you are no longer simply trying to draft the best players, but the most valuable players.

-$60 entry fee (14 teams) covers $120 Million in Cap Space. You have the option of spending more or less up to $220 Million. Whatever you go over you will owe towards the league fund. $220 Million equals $110 total in entry fees (Half of the Millions you spend on roster.)
The additional revenue made by the league will be totaled and distributed back to teams depending on how much they spent under the cap. This gives an incentive for teams to try and replicate a Small Market team. If your teams roster holds at the end of the year only total $60 Million, you will be due back approximately $30 of your original $60 entry fee. I am still working on the exact formula but it will be based on percentages of how much each under the cap team is owed.
This will also create owners that want to spend the money and be hated by the other owners (Yankees).

-There will be 3 Key Free Agent signing dates, this will help generate Big Free Agent dates and Trade Buzz around these dates. The first will be after the first 1/4th of the season and any player taken in that period you will only be held to paying 75% of his 2014 actual salary. The second will be around the All Star Break and you will only be responsible for 50% of the players salary if you pick them up after that point. The last will be 25% you get the point.

-You are responsible for a Players salary until someone else adds him on their roster via trade/ or drop and add. So just because you were an idiot and draft ARod, you can't just shed his salary unless somebody else agrees to pick up the tab by signing him.

-You will be limited to 2 or 3 transactions a week as it will be a task of keeping a Google Doc updated with each teams current Salary situation.

- Also throwing out the idea of having an option of holding up to 5 minor league players that don't cost against the cap, will help promote people trying to shed some of their bigger contracts at the end of the year and build towards the future.

- Will also have a playoff with the Bottom 6 Teams at the end of the season that will payout first and second place, to help keep owners engaged in playing for something (Money)
