Bought at $24.25 on November 18. I cut my position in half today. Can't bring myself to get rid of it all. I think there is still good headroom.
Agree
The reason I'm holding is because there is nothing else that I'm interested in at that moment. maybe if ABEV falls to 7 , ill sell and jump on it
Been keeping an eye on JCP trying to catch it at all time low , today another 6 % drop

excellent call long term, not sure how much it will keep going up short term, since its valued at 30-32$ , but you never know

Been wanting to get in since the IPO, but ordinarily I'm wary of IPO's, especially after the initial jump. Am I missing the boat by waiting until it's back until the $25 range?
Im also interested.. They arent going anywhere. Theyve been growing since they opened the doors 75 years ago. My grandfather worked there for 40+ years. Im actually on a job with one of their crews now.
I work for a competitor and we're expecting a HUGE 2014, they are also. Frank's is going to kill it next year, barring a BP type accident, I can promise you that.
Also, being that a lot of their work is overseas, they arent as dependent on the Gulf, like others.

Id agree with that, the Gulf is going to be busy busy this coming year. They went public to finance a state of the art shop they just broke ground on.

FWIW, a cousin of mine trucks equipment for them and he has been delivering one of their special tools to SW Mississippi (can't remember the name of it). I assume this for the Tuscaloosa. Anyway, he said they told him to expect to be making many more trips over there in the coming year. Seems like all I hear about them is deepwater stuff but that isn't all they're into.

That's good to know. I work for a competitor and would much rather stay away from Mississippi.. any land work, for that matter. They can have it.

Do you say this because you don't like the financial/less productive side of land work as it pertains the prospect of the company (franks) or are you just saying that you don't care for the land work side of things as a personal employment preference?

I work in the field, it's strictly me not wanting to go on those types of jobs.

Put in a buy order today, 500 shares, when it gets to $25.25...
The next two days it dropped 3% each day. Even if it is a semi long term play, I hate to see my newbies drop right after purchase. Makes me watch them to hard.
