It seems we have a problem of falling behind so far and Reke comes in and gives the team energy and identity. I have noticed AD's points and general effort rebounding etc has also went up with Reke in the lineup. Watching the game the announcers said AD is really filling up the stat sheet in the 2nd half. Should he start?
Trade Gordon please
Rivers> Roberts
Have Withey do beer/food runs for the locals during the game. Great publicity and hell, it makes him do something to earn a check.

I'd be perfectly fine with starting Reke and sliding Gordon to the 6th man role. One of the limitations with always bringing Tyreke off the bench is the fact that he comes in fresh 6-7 minutes into the 1st/3rd quarter. That's an advantage then, but a massive disadvantage if we ask him to close out the 2nd/4th when he's been on the court for 15-16 minutes straight. If Tyreke is playing well in the first half, I'd strongly consider starting the 3rd with him in the lineup so we can keep him fresh for the 4th. He looked fricking gassed vs. Houston.

Tyreke seems to be the one person that is content with either getting his shot or feeding AD. I like the fact that he doesn't rely on the mid-range jumpers from role players to bail out our offense. The more he sees the floor, the better. He should be averaging 35 minutes a night, not barely cracking 35 a few times 1/3 of the way through the season (he hasn't gotten to 36 once yet, and has cracked 35 three times). He would need to start some 1st/3rd quarters to reach those minutes though, or come in much earlier instead of waiting til the cloak hits 4:00-6:00.

I agree and mentioned in the Houston game thread that he was gassed and Monte was the last to recognize it. Monte has to be smart on his minutes until he can go 36 a game. Fans on the Kings board are missing him by about a 10-1 margin. They thought Mclemore would be an instant impact player, he can't dribble, create his shot, play defense, dumb in general and they are comparing him to TRob bad.
As it is, we always seem to be fighting from behind and it does appear AD is much more productive with Reke on the floor. The #'s may or may not show it but it sure appears that way.

You were being logical up until that point. Rivers has raised his per to a paltry 8.88. With similar improvement next year, he may justify 8 mpg.
