Seasons greeting, my fellow Pelican mons!

I am in the process of arranging a PelicansTalk road trip to Denver,CO on April 2nd for our big game against the Nuggets. I haven't made anything official, but I am estimating around $1500 a head. We need to discuss if we will fly there or take the Pelican charter bus (the same one used for the home opener). I have a block of rooms reserved at the Denver Hyatt.

I originally had planned on doing this Feb 28th at Phoenix since that is being broadcast on ESPN. The problem is that is the weekend before Mardi Gras.

Who is in?

Sounds awesome Heady, but I'm a poor-arse grad student who can't afford a $1500 trip. Are there stipends available for broke asses like me?

Maybe Houston could be more realisitc for our posters with financial concerns. Like I said the only thing I have reserved is the block of rooms but that can be cancelled rather easily.

No doubt- good call on one of the Houston games. I'll for sure be there for the Nuggets game at home on the 27th though.

Wtf. Theres no way an arranged road trip should cost that much. Would you be there for a week?

I would skip charted and just get a block on a plane. Save a ton of money. Denver Hyatt should be nice.

I wonder how far the closest dispensary is.

That would be a good one. I am open to anything.

Like I said in the OP, the best game day atmosphere would be Phoenix because it is on ESPN. It would just be hard to miss some of Mardi Gras.

I am thinking 3-4 days. As for the price, we will be living large. Fine dining and expensive liquor. Legal marijuana. Seats will have to be determined whether suite or courtside.
