The 7000 or so more being added are not all going to be bodies sitting out in the open adding to the volume. It's going to be a small percentage like that. That's what is so misleading about it.
We get all excited thinking of 100k people, but in actuality it'll probably be more like 85k in the way we think about it. That is, people sitting outside on a seat in the stadium adding to the noise. Numbers might be off, but point still made. A good percentage of that 100k are people standing in an air conditioned suite eating and conducting business.

Water under the bridge I know, BUT, does the Athletic Department devise some sort of off-season plan to put butts back in the seats next year?
This is the first time in a while they've had to deal with this issue. The empty seats do not look good to visiting recruits.

Are you guys really thinking that will be the view? They don't even have in the stadium-stepped seating in the picture, which will take care of any viewing issues. They'll be fantastic seats.
FWIW, my father is paying the same, but his will be closer to the center.

It will be louder just based on holding more noise inside the stadium once it closed in.

He's talking about the SEZ. Every game I've been to this past season, the SEZ has been about the only section that was completely full for most of the game.
