I didn't listen to Saban talk about this, but if true, then our coaching staff needs to be called out on this point!! The fact that Saban called a TO on a 4th down, wasn't that a warning sign??

lets run our fb who hasnt played in 3 weeks off tackle instead of giving it to 33 or 27.

1) Copeland has carried several times and the play call was right, he just made a mistake and the Bama guy made a play.
2) With Copeland in the game the first drive, we rushed for roughly 40 yds. After they sat him, we rushed for maybe 40 yds the rest of the game.
3) Sitting your best FB who is 270lbs and a beast in the Bama game because he fumbled is stupid. IF you want to punish him, then don't hand the ball to him anymore, but we needed his blocking ability.

Saban said that if LSU was in punt safe they were going to fake. LSU wasn't in punt safe so Bama burned the timeout (I think they burned it becasue their 11th man was late getting on the field, but whatever). After the timeout, LSU was in punt safe and Bama ran the fake.
In short:
Punt safe = fake
Normal D = Bama punting

I think everyone is overlooking that Copeland was devastated on the sideline after the fumble and knowing that he had a serious concussion from falling in the shower weeks before probably played into Miles decision. That white boy fullback wasn't exactly a big drop off from Copeland. Copeland has shown from his past that he can be a head case and I guess that was a factor in Miles mind. Whatever. It don't affect my pay any.

I watched neighbors and he appeared to hold his blocks longer than copeland. Bamas lbs are studs. Mosley stoned both of our fbs.
I blame the lack of running game on selection of backs more than who played FB. Give 33 the ball!

not only the momentum changes, but the sequential order or "scoring"..huge factor.
