Did John Jenkins play yesterday?

The Saints started yesterday's game with Akiem Hicks at nose. Did John Jenkins play at all? He has no defensive stats from the game, but I don't see him on the injured list.

I don't remember either but I do remember Hicks going off like a maniac on a few plays.

No doubt. He was very productive (7 tackles, 3 solo) and played with a lot of enery and enthusiasm.

but like others said I saw hicks in the backfield a few times

I was wondering that this morning. I didn't notice him playing at all yesterday and he had no stats.

Maybe the Saints felt like Hicks gave them a better pass rushing presence.

I did see John Jenkins in on a few plays. Bunkley was active and on the field, so that could mean fewer snaps for Jenkins.

His conditioning has always been in question. Maybe they didn't think he was up to defending an up tempo offense.
