Really obvious who he is pulling for here. Maybe he's hoping his comments get back to the refs. Looks and sounds like he wants Fla to have the upper hand here.

Bottom Line - If we just play decent defense against Georgia we're undefeated. I look for the best defensive performance of the year v. Florida. The "D" looked much better the 2nd half against Moo State. I like our secondary a lot with White, Robinson, Thompson & Martin. Our D-Line & LB's step up today!

This. Danielson is a good analyst. Verne's problem is he is not jolly. Old fat drunk guys should be jolly dammit.

I'll agree with this. I'm just not a fan of the cbs broadcast at all. Verne is terrible, and his rambling really distracts from the game. The ridiculous commercials, especially during key points of the game.
Danielson does have a habit of fixating on a particular player. When Tebow was at uf, every game they called had a "he looks like Tim Tebow" moment. Hell, that continued for years after Tebow graduated.

Danielson makes almost as many stupid mistakes as Verne. He's in love with the sound of his voice. He spends most of the time talking about one team did wrong instead of what the other team did right. I can't stand him no matter who is playing. Him and Verne make any CBS game almost unwatchable.
Oh, if UF is allowed to effect LSUs WRs routes, it will impact the game? Getting a rush on Mett will also impact the passing game? Yes, only Danielson could come up with this analysis. No other color guy would know that. Gimme a break.

I sat next to Danielson on flight in 2011. He was on his way to do the Arkansas vs Bama game. Really smart football guy. I used to think he was a douche until speaking with him . He studied game film on his laptop during the flight and jotting notes. Of course I told him that I was an LSU fan and we had a good conversation about football. I said that Bama was gonna kill Arky that year, but he actually thought that Arky was gonna be our stiffest test that season.

I don't give a darn what people think of GD, he bumps his damn gums too much. GD jumps from one side to the other too often. I like Todd much better.

I think he's the most knowledgeable, but he just doesn't know when to shut up sometimes
