Looking to upgrade to a bigger aluminum boat. Looking for 20' with a 115. Which one of these brands does the ODB suggest. I fish freshwater, marsh, and saltwater lakes mostly

My buddy just bought a 19' G3 CC. He swears it's hands down better than an express. I have my doubts on that. Trying to get more opinions on both boats.

I have a xpress hb20 bay boat with the 115 four stroke and I love that thing! Takes chop well and can get in shallow water for red fishing. Great on gas also, I've never really looked into the g3 but xpress are great boats

I really like the express boats too. My buddy was trying to sway me to a G3 cause it has higher sides which is the reason he bought the boat. He's worried about a taking a wave in the surf. IDK, guess he had too justify his purchase

This is my G3...17 1/2' 56" with a 70 Yamaha four stroke. I love it. Very stable boat. Two of my friends have since bough them and are very pleased. Best quality, hands down!!!

I rode in a 20ft Express out to Last Island and was not impressed with the ride in some chop.

Was it the hyper lift hull on the hb series or the flat hd hull? I have the hyperlift and it rides great...fish out of fourchon and fish timbilier a lot handles seas really well, of course it's not gunna ride like a 22-24 glass boat but it's a third if the price

this is my '13 H20b. good storage for an alum boat, gas mpg is awesome with the 115 but I wish I could have afforded the 150hp. I put a much better Yamaha prop and took off the crap powertech and will be putting a 10" hydro jackplate soon. Rides great for alum boat, take it for what it is. My coworker has the same boat but with the hd hull and it sucks.

Had one identical to that except it was the DLX. Not sure what that even gives you over the regular models lol. It was a great boat...really miss having it sometimes. Only downsides, awkward seating for the driver and anyone sitting up front would get a little wet in the chop (but that's because of the hull shape). If you're looking at a 20' Express, you're probably looking at the ones with a hull shaped more closely to a 20' fiberglass boat so that should ride better.

It wasnt the hyper lift. More flat than V. That's probably why. When the guy bought the boat, he thought it was a hyper lift.
