I got the pics this morning. Heard it was killed up by Tensas somewhere. No story yet.

Big deer in Tensas. My dad found a dead 17 point while building a duck blinds on our lease in 2011. I wish I still had the pics of it, it was on my old phone.

During the big duck season that same year a huge buck was killed on the Guilbeau Marine lease right down the road from our lease. 20 something points or some shite like that. I couldn't wrap my hands around the base of the antlers it was so big.

Story is legit, a buddy of mine works with the guy. No high fences, and it was killed in the Clayton area.

Killed in Tensas Monday am. No high fence. He brought it by the office. Just wanted to prove it's not too late for velvet.

I've never understood the appeal of "hunting" when feeders are involved.

Youve never had to hunt NE Fl.

better have food or dogs or plan on a lonely day in the woods

Great deer.

Anybody know if it can be scored with the velvet still on? I don't know the rules behind a score being official with it still in velvet. As cool as it looks, I would mount it like that.

Also, I would be in Bastrop taking my top spot in the Big Buck Contest after gutting that sucker.
