Is it common to give a taxidermist a tip? I'm getting my 9pt back and an axis euro mount back, just wondering.

He is not a waiter...he is making a fair wage for the work being done...

Now if I asked him for an expedited delivery or I asked him for something above and beyond normal services then yes i would throw him a tip.

Unless the animal was really fricked up due to bad skinning, bad care on your end, really shot up, etc that made the mount very hard to accomplish a tip would not be warranted...

I agree, no tip necessary unless they go the extra mile and personally deliver or something along those lines.
