Should We: Al Harrington edition
Posted by THRILLHO on 8/2/13 at 3:29 pm00
Was just bout out by the Magic. Had injury issues last season but averaged 14/6 in 27mpg in 2011/12. Given that Aminu and Miller are our only pure 3's, I figure Harrington could be a good stopgap vet that could help us win a few games. Not sure if he'll get more than the vet min.

He's a PF.

I'd love him if we were a little further along. I'd like to let Miller build off of his solid summer league, though. He played pretty well for us in limited minutes last year.

I don't think we need any more 3/4 tweeners on the team personally. Thought a vet minimum could be a nice insurance policy in case Anderson/Davis miss a few games and we need someone to give us 10-15 mins a night every once in awhile.

He played plenty of 3.
Pretty sure he was drafted as a 3, too.

I'd be cool with picking him up as a backup three. Could use him in some matchups where you put Evans at the two. I'd only want him on a vet minimum deal. Seems plausible to me since Orlando didn't buy him out, so they still owe him.

Harrington is basically a broken down Ryan Anderson at this point in his career.
He is in no way, shape, or form capable of playing the 3. At all.
