Snake Draft PPR

Who should I take with the first 2 picks
In the mocks I have been doing running backs left are

Gore
CJ
Bush
Sometimes Forte
MJD

Usually Megatron is the only WR taking in 1st RD so I have my choices with WR

What is the best 1-2 pick here?

RB/RB
RB/WR

Or take Brees/Rodgers with a running back

I'm high on Reggie Bush this year with Detroit

Thanks for any insight

If Forte goes before 14 who is the next Running back to take?

would be pretty silly IMO. You're dealing with the scraps of the 2nd tier. You'd then have 27 picks before you can get a wide out and would then be dealing with a limited talent pool there as well.

Take the best players available regardless of position.

In a draft that big I'd take the best players available and then probably aim for whatever running back falls in the 3rd and pair him with ivory.

Too much risk in the first 15 picks, IMO.

People on this board are annoying, 10 teams is too small and every team too good. But 14 teams is too many, so every league has to be 12 teams?

If I were president.

14 is getting up there, but I have been in a 16 team league, and those should just be illegal.

Agreed.

8: awful
10: less awful
12: perfect
14: less awful
16: awful

Is Jimmy Graham/AJ Green better to take then a 2nd tier running back?

Or should I take Brees/Rodgers at that point

There's 500 on the line that's why I joined

in a 14 man league, you almost can't have a strategy other than "choose the best available player" until round 4-5

Depends on rbs available. But yeah I'd probably take those guys over someone like ridley. They're elite at their position. If one of the top 7-8 rbs fall I'd probably grab them and graham/top 3 wr combo

I'd rather be in a 10 team league than a 14 team league unless it's an auction draft. Watching player after player go off the board after the 15th pick would be miserable.

Lets analyze

Situation 1: WR/WR
Marshall and AJ Green
then you are looking at Injury risks of Ryan Mathews, Bradshaw or unproven rooks as your RB 1/2

Situation 2: RB/RB
Forte,CJ2K,MJD,SJAX..pick the 2 that fall
then you are looking at Cruz,Colston,Vjax,J.Nelson as your wr1/2(respectable and each has been a top 10 WR)

Situation 3: QB/RB?/WR?
Brees and Forte/Marshall
means you are left with BPA
round 3 Cruz
round 4 Bradshaw
round 5 Garcon/Bryce Brown
round 5 could have landed Matt Ryan/Robert Griffin
What's better IYO Brees/Bryce Brown or Ryan/Forte?

Situation 4:
WR/RB Marshall/CJ2k
Round 3: Cruz
Round 4: Bradshaw

Probably highest scoring option, but RB2 is a serious risk and in 14 man league an Injury will destroy your season.

IMO at 14 go RB/RB/WR/WR/QB/RB/RB/WR/WR/WR/QB/TE/TE/DEF/K

LINK

FFBCalculator

but that's just the latest 14man-PPR mock with the most humans that I could find to use as an example as to where/what they picked

Brees could go #1 overall in a locals draft, and probably wouldn't make it to the 3rd
