It does.. the experience from the game totally changes.
Imagine eating your favorite meal.. then eating your favorite meal stoned. You will walk away thinking the meal eaten while stoned was soooo much better, meaning your experience should have been even better.
Yes we understand console vs pc isnt a 1 for 1 thin when it comes to game play. The experience with better audio, graphics, frame times and customization from the open source community can keep bringing you a very unique and hopefully better experience.

Sorry to upset you PCers, but it's much easier to plug in and go with a console than to build and continuously upgrade a PC. When it comes to my gaming, I like maintenance to be on par with my activity level... lazy and carefree.

And luckily for me, I play all my console games stoned, so they come off better than they are.
Console < PC
Stoned on console = PC

I agree to a point, but things you mentioned besides modifications don't impact core gameplay features to me. Although I should say I'm not wired the way most master racers are, I enjoy experiences unique to PC (RTS) more than I enjoy better framerates and textures.

Black Mesa Source
Downloading this right now. Bought the Orange Box combo pack so that I could play a bunch of mods and figured I'd enjoy the Half-Life experience since I have the games.

If you've never played the original Half-Life, Black Mesa Source is the best way to experience it. And even if you have played the original, it's still worth a play through. It feels like an official Valve product.

I played HL2, Episode 1, and Episode 2 on the Orange Box on 360 but never played the original. I remembered hearing about this so I went to download it today.

Little Debbie cakes trump the PC when stoned.

I think that while using a mouse to aim is easy and intuitive, the keyboard is clunky and counter intuitive compared to buttons and sticks. I play all PC games besides RTS and MOBA games on my 360 contoller anyway.

I disagree, but I will concede the level of control you get in regards to different movement speeds is a big plus with analog sticks.
I like that I can just push a stick slightly forward to sneak with a gamepad. On PC, you usually hit a button to toggle on/off "sneak mode" or some nonsense. That can be annoying for games that require stealth.

Highly disagree.
Once you map your keys you can do much more with fewer commands on a KB. Controllers always give you 1 more step usually to sort through weapons, inventory and guns. Easier and quicker on a KB/M.
Then again it isn't about controls, you can play with a controller or KB/M on PC. It is a different experience that totally encapsulates you.
