Had a great day out on the range plinking some steel today. Here are both the M&P40 Core and SR9c. Both have very smooth recoil impulses, although I did happen to be using reloaded ammo.

As for the M&P, I installed a forward set sear and trigger kit from Apex. This absolutely beats the hell out of the Pro Series trigger from S&W. My shooting improved with it immensely. I cannot wait to throw an RMR on it!

You can also get a good view of the sights on both guns. I happen to prefer the taller sights on the CORE as opposed to the standard M&P sights. And the fiber optics on my Ruger are an amazing improvement over the former tiny sights.

Enjoy!

I guess it could be seen as gun porn...

We def put a lot of lead downrange. If I was going to drive all the way out there I was going to make it worth it.

From the looks of the targets, 1000 yards.
From the looks of the gun, 1 yard.

That was my only real gripe about my SR9c besides the mag disconnect safety. The new sights are MUCH better.

Got a better seal on the left one than the right one though. May need to remold it...

This is what I was thinking. Those go pro lenses have a way of making things look far away. I always think people are sky blasting when I watch duck hunting vids and I can barely see the birds

Enjoyed the vids Bapple. When the Zombie Apocolypse starts, I'd like you to be in our survival group. You'd hit more skulls quicker than most. Very nice shooting there!

How do you like that Streamlight on the M&P? Just bought one for my Glock.

I'll be honored to have the OB army on my side when the Zombie Apoc begins...

The Streamlight is great. The only thing that bugs me is that they waited until after I bought it two years ago to upgrade it.

Mine is 160 lumens but you can get a comparable TLR-1s now with 300 lumens output. And if you get the HL model it outputs a whopping 630 lumens. Woah!
