I've been catching up on this action packed animation, and I have to say I think it WAS, pretty awesome. Apparently though the stupid "it better sell toys" powers that be at Cartoon Network have decided to cancel it. They seem to think that it's better to go back to the "Teen Titans" and their very shitty writing and piss poor American style manga. What is CN deal? For me I watch Young Justice, and think, this is something that appeals to both children and adults. Has some very adult undertones, with enough "goofiness" for children. Has anyone else checked out Young Justice, and if so what was your opinion?

I loved it. I thought season 2 started out great but lost steam through the second half. It didn't live up to its promise IMO, but great animation and a host of characters not seen animated previously make it a win. Shame about the cancellation, but I'm actually looking forward to the new CGI Beware the Batman.

Liked it but I thought Teen Titans was better. From what i got out of it, YJ had the same stoic bland character development that a lot of DC works have problems overcoming.

Well the newer Teen Titans is supposed to be crappier animation than the older one, and a lot campier. The CGI Batman has promise, but I still prefer old school true animation.

I really enjoyed and it was not happy when it was cancelled. I agree that season 1 was more solid and focused but it was cool to see more characters in season 2.

See, IMO more characters lowers the amount of screen time for all of them, so each gets less development.

And yes, the new titans format looks pretty bad.

Yeah, I'm at the end of the first season right now. I've seen bits and pieces of the second. Parts of where AL "turns on the team."

I just wish CN would quit canceling their good shows just because they don't sell toys. I'm still really pissed about the cancellation of the new Thundercats.

Young Justice was awesome, it was pretty annoying when CN canceled it for their crappy new shows. I found both seasons to be top notch.

Yeah, they even show Linxo in the first episode. I was hoping they were going to find him sooner or later. And the Pumira twist really gave it some blood, then the big frick YOU! YOU'RE CANCELED, happen.

was pretty bummed when I saw they were getting bumped for the Batman and TT shows. Though I thought it was a replacement type deal at first, letting YJ and GL:TAS get take a break for another season. Then I saw that was not the case

The finale of YJ pissed me off so hard knowing the fate of the program, so many plots set up. Leaves open a huge one with my favorite comic book character.

Toys are a pretty big part of any action cartoon, and YJ stuff still hangs out in discount isles with the reboot Thundercats toys. Green Lantern didn't even get the chance, as the movie toys destroyed it's retail image.

I'm interested in the new TT series, though I wish they wouldn't have changed the animation from the shorts that got them the show. Glad it doesn't look like it clings to the old series storyline wise, which I'm glad. I like the ending of TT, glad it will remain intact.

There's some website I was reading about that's purpose it basically setting up meetings over cancelled shows with their companies in hopes to revive them. Not sure of the legitimacy or the effectiveness.

Sometimes Batman doesn't have to be dark and brooding, it made for a nice, enjoyable change-up.

Yeah I think read somewhere that te show runner for YJ was switching sides to Marvel.

And yeah Batman:BB was pretty cool. Didn't watch much of it but enjoyed the Silver Age of Comics style of it.

I have to say that Young Justice was the best superhero cartoon ever. The villians weren't idoits or tools and the heroes really show that as stack as the deck were some times they will overcome the attack by the skin of their teeth.

However I think they made the senior heroes too herp derpy, can't do anything right.
