nothing in the game shoukd me he is a "stud".. he's good, but not amazing
Which is good. He will be a solid player for 7-8 years.

Maybe you are looking for INTs and forced fumbles ala TM7.

No there is none of that. I didnt see playmaking turnover guy.

But Im actually more impressed with his cover skills and instincts. He blankets Tavon throughout the game. He takes away Tavon as an option for Geno. I consider that stud material and far more reliable than getting TO's.

His brand of play in this game buys time for others to sack Geno and recover the fumbles. Taking away Geno's best option led directly to punts.

That to me is stud material.

Good coverage isn't sexy. That sacks that result are however.

not going to lie, a lot of those route Tavon ran looked half-arse. Seemed like he wasnttrying to finish his routes.

He's tremendous in man and he played a ton of it in college.

I'm thinking the type of coverages he played probably had a little to do with his lack of turnovers produced. If he's sitting back in centerfield it's easier to do than sitting in the slot and pressing dudes.

That's exactly what Sean Payton said in his presser. We didn't see the TO's cuz he played in the slot so much.

Thinking about him making plays in centerfield only adds to my highly positive take on him.

This is my problem with this. It was one game. I want to know how he did in the blowouts against Kansas State and Oklahoma. I'm not expecting you to break down film but one game doesn't define a body of work.

Yes it's only one game, but it's against the first WR taken in the draft and against a QB that just about everyone thought would be the first QB taken in the draft.

That's pretty significant, no?

He set a Big 12 record with almost 400 yards rushing against OU, and he is a WR. The Kid is the best college athlete of the last 15 years, bar none.

I hope he can cover a TE better than the existing players we have.

Are you talkin about Austin? Bc I can name at least 5 guys off the top of my head who were better athletes than he is in 15 years. Come on man...

Jesus. He's talented, but he's blown up in this offseason into the next Uncle Rico.

I agree he and Thomas from Oregon were the best playmakers last year but Adrian Peterson, Calvin, Percy, and Pat Pete are just some of the few that outshined him and would easily be picked before him in a redraft
