My buddy went out of fourchon with 2 other fellas,came back with 30 snapper.

If we could have stayed away from the aj breakoffs, I could have done some damage on the mangy's. Not big but plentiful.

I know it's only officially open .5 miles east of the entrance. I didn't drive down either way to see if it was actually blocked. I fished about a quarter mile east of the entrance. I got there at 5 and it was fairly deserted. Around 7 I looked around and wondered when all the people got there.

It was crowded. I was catching nice trout steadily. The people on both sides of me thy I could see we're catching steadily also. I assume everyone on the beach was. It slowed down by 9 and I has to get home.

Beautiful day. I'm now hooked on wading Elmer's.

Oh yea. We fished light colored plastics the whole time. The fish we cleaned were full of skramps though

A few on top water, a couple on plastics, but otherwise, croakers. Fish were full of shrimp. People using shrimp though we're also dealing w hardheads.

Something like that. Hard to pound on them when you got 4 noobs on boat getting their arses whipped by AJs. I was constantly rigging. I got some sticks on the boat Wed-Fri, I plan on staying in close one day and working them and the lemons over.
