I feel like an idiot asking this because I'm sure it's something easy but I have a question. I recently bought an extra trolling motor because I had some spare cash and had a little pirogue. I got a minn kota c2 40lb thrust from a buddy. Well the motor and handle point in the same direction because he had it mounted on the bow. Well now I want to put it onto the back of the pirogue and make it look like so
I can't get a hold of him because he just left to work on his rig. Just wondering anyone can help me.

Usually a pin or bolt where the head meets the shaft that can be removed . It is similar to a ceiling fan mechanisim. Then align head and shaft as desired and reinsert pin. Some models though do not have this option.
