The "Space Jam" reunion is finally here.

Patrick Ewing is joining the Bobcats' coaching staff. (USA Today Sports)Hall of Fame center Patrick Ewing has reached agreement to become the associate head coach for the Charlotte Bobcats, league sources told Yahoo! Sports.

Charlotte owner Michael Jordan and Ewing appeared together in the 1996 animated cult movie classic. Of greater consequences, Jordan and Ewing were longtime rivals as superstars for the Chicago Bulls and New York Knicks.

Ewing will join the coaching staff of new Bobcats head coach Steve Clifford.
Ewing and Clifford have a strong professional and personal history together.

I saw him at PF Changs one in Houston when he was a coach for the Rockets. This guy has to be one the most uneloquent people I've ever seen. Not sure what happened to him but you cringe when he speaks.

Being able to read must not have been a requirement.

Looking at the Bobcats's roster, I don't see how anything could turn that team around.

Its not even the roster, its just that the league refuses to throw the Bobcats a lottery win

He grew 7 feet tall and played BB for 20 years so it didn't matter.

I like the move. I thought the Bobcats would have been a perfect HC spot for Ewing.
