I've always enjoyed watching this guy play, I think he's ready to take on a starting pg role. Sign him for $3 mil and have him fight rivers for the starting spot?

He wouldn't get it but I think he wants to. He's only been in the league for like six years. Started in lieu of derrick rose 24 games. He can at least stroke the 3 and play perimeter defense. I like him as a bench guy.
Eta- I remember watching him go for 25/6 when d will was hurt. He just turned 29 2 months ago but I think he's a solid vet to have while we develop rivers and he could replace roger mason jr
