42, I like you, but you've got to stop trying so hard to defend Mac. He's a good writer and is a good basketball analyst. But when it comes to stuff like this, he can sound very arrogant and try to pass of rumors as fact. You really can't deny that, and sitting here arguing over what he was right or wrong over is just a waste of time.

I'm saying it was accurate. Those were the leading names. As additional info, those llc's seemed of interest. They were not tied to the team. That guy acted on the same info heard from multiple people by multiple people. Again.
FB, I'm not defending Mc. I even said I remain skeptical in black and white.
What I'm doing is pointing out the problem with misquoting him or impugning his integrity or character because he is unlikable to some.
There is just no reason for the basless attacking that is rampant here. It's counterproductive. I'm not talking about good-natured or spirited debate. I mean attacks.
As the core of the fanbase, this can't persist.
If he's a wrong idiot, let him be wrong and pressure him to get better.
