I'm with you that we can throw pitchers on short rest to win the tourney.

The main difference is, me and the guys in this thread, don't care at all about tomorrow. It's a nice to have, but doesn't matter.

#1 seed = #8 seed. Only thing that matters is the super will be in Baton Rouge. If anything #1 seed is needless pressure.

This game is probably crucial to our success in the post season.

Why is this game crucial? Hell, seemed like Skip used to lose SEC tournament games on purpose if he had a good enough regular season.

Seriously do u know Anything about baseball? The negatives of what you're saying out reach anything that will happen this year. Such as dads not letting their sons come pitch for CPM if he acted a fool as u suggest he do.

One inning of pitching is the same as a mid-week bullpen session.

I'm starting Eades today and telling him to go the distance. He isn't hurt and odds are we won't need him next weekend, if he truly needs rest. He hasn't pitched since last Saturday. I hope CPM saw the light during his sleep last night and does just that. We will see.....

It's retarded to start a starting pitcher that is projected to be a high round draft pick that hasn't pitched in 8 days to do what it is he does against the best team in the country in the conference championship game?

Gotcha. Real retarded concept there.

No it's not! The adrenaline and pressure of facing an actual batter plus putting that extra 1% behind each pitcher is a HUGE difference. Please, keep proving to us that you don't know anything about baseball.

As it's been pointed out you're wrong about the last start for Eades. Look dude there would be no excuse for getting a kid hurt over pitching him. It would kill recruiting and make us look terrible. There's no way CPM risks one of his kids for this win NO WAY

CPM in no way will mail this game in. The players
want this one--I think they will be lazer beam
focused on the prize. All of you naysayers that
say this game means nothing--WRONG. This championship game means a lot to our guys. They want this baby. BOOK-IT Our Bull Pen is starting to gel--big time.
