Anybody on the OB have this truck? What kind of mpg do you get. I can buy it new for $32,000.00. I'm not an off-roader just want the 4 wd for, just in case. Last Oct. we got a new 4 Runner and really like it.

Dont have one, but the top 2 trucks out right now are f150 and tundra if you ask me.
I think CaptST has a fleet of tundras he speaks highly of.

+1
Everybody I know that has one loves their Tundra. Likewise with the newer Fords.

I own a 2010 4x4 crew cab limited. I have had zero problems with it and it gets about 15 in the city. Wife has a new 4runner its nice but the turning radius sucks.

I have the Tundra 5.7 TRD without the 4 wheel drive. Burning pure gas gets me about 20-21 hwy and 16-17 city. With that damn ethanol I get about 3-5 MPG less. This is my third Tundra and I have never had a problem with any of them. Great trucks

I just can't see paying what Ford wants. They sure are proud of them.

Have you talked to any dealers? From what I've heard, Ford will come off the sticker a good bit whereas Yota stands pretty firm on theirs. This is based off of no personal experience though, just what I've heard, mostly here.
I drive a GMC now but my next one will be a Ford or Yota. Probably Ford.

I bought a 2008 crew max tundra 4x4 new. I absolutely love it. The back seat has plenty of room. The only thing I do not like is when you are in 4 low a bell goes off. I asked the dealer if there was anyway to disable the bell and they said no.

List price is $39,600.00. w/rebate and such,$31,990.00 double cab with bucket seats and console shifter. Don't think Ford will touch that.

I have the a 2007 Tundra CrewMax TRD. It isn't the 4WD model but I get about 14 in the city (AC is typically cranked) and 19-20 on the highway. Now when I tow I drop back down to about 14-15 on the highway.
All in all I wouldn't hesitate to buy another Tundra. The CrewMax is great with the extra legroom in the back. Very few trucks have rear seats that can recline.

Truck durability test
Tundra was the worst out of the bunch. I wouldn't let it sway my decision to buy or not, I just found it interesting.

I've seen that and yes it is interesting that it was done by Ford. They have a similar test done in 2007 I believe, with the same results, also done by Ford. I'm not discounting it but again I'm not going to do a lot of off-road driving.

I had the Tundra and my rack and pinion went out before 3 yrs and I was at 27,000 miles. It's probably because I had 37" tires on it though.
I just traded it in and got the 2013 FX4 F150 and I absolutely love it.
Both are great trucks as its already been said. Ford has a couple more bells and whistles plus all my buddies work on them for a living so cost down the line will be much cheaper.

Do you have to trade and finance to get these deals? I don't have a trade (for $1000.00) and didn't really want to finance.

I had a 2011 Tundra Platinum and absurdly loved it. I paid $40k for it brand new and drove it 2.5 yrs and put 40k miles on it and sold it 3 weeks ago for 35k. 5k for 40k miles and 2.5 yrs seemed to good to be true so I got rid of it and bought a new Sequoia.
Never had the first problem out of it after pulling boats and my ranger 2 hrs each way to AR for duck hunting.
I had just put 33 in tires on it and was getting 13-14 mpg
