I was looking at the coal market being hammered and trying to decide if I should take a chance on Arch Coal? I also have been looking at Molycorp do any of you guys have stock in these companies?

Got MCP at $4.95. I placed an order below $5, but I did not think it would go that low.
Just got lucky.
I'd like to know people's take on PAL. It's almost $1. At what point is it a takeover candidate?

I wouldn't buy coal now with natural gas trading at $4/mcf and all estimates saying we won't see $5 until 2020...coal is rapidly losing its share of the power gen market to gas and there doesn't seem to be anything to slow the trend.

ANR is a better coal company, higher upside due to Asian demand for metallurgical coal.
