Didn't they already do that with the fast and furious?

Edit: maybe I should read threads

And everyone here will pay to see it.

"But :insert name of hot female: is in it!"

"It's just a popcorn flick."

"Too cool for this movie? Snob!"

"Meh, I'll give it a shot."

Guess again. I've never seen the last 90's Batman movie just because Arnold played Mr. Freeze.

And I never will.

I'm Irish. We hold grudges forever.

ETA: The "Poochie" reference in the article says it all.

Enough time has passed that they can have four completely new ex-presidents.

Both the Bushes, Clinton and (if it gets released in 2017 or later) Obama.

Hopefully they'll do it with all blue screen and CGI. Cast Chris Pine as Swayze's character and Labeouf as Reeves' character. Get Abrams on the script (work in a time travel storyline this time) - and have Bay direct.

License to print money.

ETA: and film in 3D - the surfing scenes will be awesomely gnarly.

Not really.

I can honestly say I haven't seen one remake on cable or the movies. I barely go to the movies though.
