Any FDers Competing in the Jambalaya Festival Cookoff?

I really wish the festival would have a second competition that was almost completely open. Allow propane, any ingredients, etc. Just think - jambalaya on a stick, sushi jambalaya, sparrow jambalaya, jambalaya balls, jambalaya bread, pastalaya, tomato jambalaya . . .

I'll be competing in it, there are a few other posters that will be also. Some in the big pot and some in the mini-pot.

Agreed.

Also wish they would schedule it in the spring so it wasn't so flippin hot.

Rat, after you've been crowned Bawcomville Jambalaya King,,, those little festivals don't mean anything to me anymore.
