Plumlee will be a better pro imo

Your opinion. But Zellar is bigger, faster, younger and has more potential (frame to add muscle). I don't think that Plumlee can be a full time Center, seems a bit of a tweener to me.

Lebron has played a lot of point power forward and im just saying it can work. After bennett gets shoulder surgery I see him doing a lot of cardio and getting lean as hell. He has said he wants to play the 3. Just because he is on the team doesn't at all mean AD has to play center, but we could tey it out. Could also do some Amundson at center. With these guys our 3/4/5 position is decent and rebounding is decent. We can also have flexibility to trade for a center like pek and match his salary. If we get a passing, quick perimeter guarding and stealing pg we should be set as far as the z chart goes. Many good teams don't fit into the typical position mold. What we need on zgraph now is midrange shooting, post defense, leadership, rebounds, post scoring, fearlessness, high fg%, dominant scoring which i feel bennett would bring... that's not a perfect means of assessment at all but I think it's a good check.

Also we finished 19th in rebounding. 23rd in asts, those below us include grizz knicks and pacers who have anthony bennettt like scorers (dwest melo and zbo). 11th in fewest to/pg. Last in steals/pg (gravy). 10th in blocks pg. 24thin ppg. We finished 9th in 3pt fg% while 19th in 3p fg made. We were 15th in total fg %... so seems to me we need to get a good inside scorer to help out with fg% and points scored. We need more rebounding with aminu going. We also need a pg who can dime and be quick enough to guard opposing pgs and get steals. We could also use an upgrade of lopez but that could be hard to get and bennett is an answer to many of his problems. I don't have any problem going small ball if we can cover what we woild miss with a big C... our sg is already small as hell anyway lol. Healthy AD and gordon should improve our steals numbers also and bennett is not incapable of steals.

Plumlee has 20 pounds on Zeller and he is more athletic and faster. He's only an inch shorter. If he's a tweener than so is Zeller

As far as defensively: we allowed 4th highest fg pctg while allowing 2nd to last offensive rebounding (they were making their shots or ahead too much to care lol). We were 24th in defensive rebounds for oppossing teams, only people below us were nuggets, heat, grizz, okc, nets and clippers respectively (slow style of play)? 4th in least opp to/pg. 17th in opp ppg. Ppgdifferential of -3.8. Off rebound differential of 1.8. -1.5 differential fta. -1.2 in 3p fg m. -1.6 in steals. 1.0 in TOs. -.6 in blocks. And -2.4 differential in assists pg... so porter would bring us towards average in many categories but bennett could make us ferocious on rebounding and fg%.

Dude, you have to learn to use punctuation and paragraphs more efficiently. I mean no offense, but the walls of text are too much. I just don't even feel compelled to read it. That doesn't mean I disregard your opinion, it is just not in a palatable form.

You are correct. The last 2 posts I made were just listings of how we finished the season in different categories relative to the rest of the league. I mainly put them there for personal reference. I might edit them later if I have time!

I don't dislike Bennett as a player. I just think he is a bad fit for what Dell and Monty are building. I think Monty could probably put together some interesting lineups, but I'd rather a roster with balance.

Not me, the heat are the worst rebounding team in the league! A team needs balance but not in every single category. What we need is to throw gravy on someone else's mashed potatoes . . The more I look at it the more I dislike him.

I've spent far too much time reading abstracts of scientific journals and doing my own research, eloquence in writing is truly something I've lost over the years!

To everyone- Continue to let me know how im doing, won't you? Even if it includes cursing and name calling lol.

Almost everywhere I have looked has Plumlee listed at 6'10, 235 and Zeller at 7'0, 240. Zeller is also a full 2 years younger and might grow a bit more. I don't know why you think Plumlee is faster, but everything I have read and seen doesn't support that. I actually thought Plumlee was kind of a stiff. But I've only really watched a half dozen games or so that he played the last year or two.

Yeah you're right. I was just glancing at chad fords mock draft and he had Zeller at 210. Didnt sound right.

Anyway, Plumlee runs the court very well and is very athletic for 6'10". He can get up too. I think Zeller is stiffer. Who knows.
