Expect players of this recruiting class to make a immediate impact. Especially on Defense. I would really like to see Brazil at DB, White may even start. In coming LB's like M. Jones and Beckwith(DE) could see a lot of time just based on size/speed/strength.

However, at the QB position I see a problem. Based off the spring game I would venture to say that Mett has not improve his feet or his internal clock. A. Jennings on the other hand has some very nice intangibles at the QB position, all that's really left for him is learning the play book which is not a easy thing.

The O-Line seems ok but I wouldn't ask much of them. WR looked the same but they also would have many a ball over thrown to them or under thrown by Mett. OB3 still has issues catching the ball at times, Landry has no issues, this guy reminds me of Dywane Bowe but much smaller.

This coming season will be star struck with first year players at LSU. I look forward to this season and don't really see LSU slipping up unles the offense puts us in difficult positions like last year which may not be a problem with CC at the helm and a possible two QB system. CC wanted one at the ravens so maybe we will see one at LSU for the up coming season. I'm thinking a 07 style year at the QB position.

I think the offense will be a lot better, thus reducing the pressure on the defense.

IF said offense is better it will help our D;however, the offense is still a huge unknown.

I think that's probably our ceiling . I think 8-4,9-3 is about right.

There are four teams on the schedule that have the talent to compete with LSU, if the Tigers play to their ability. I doubt LSU loses all four, but could lose to a lesser team down the road.

9-3 or 10-2 is pretty realistic for this group. Split with UGA, A&M, Alabama, UF.

The Manships hate LSU. The Advocate is about as relevant as the Birmingham News which completely sucks

I don't see us splitting those. I will believe we have a consistently competent passing game when I see it. We also haven't had a meltdown game in a few seasons. I see ole miss being that game.

We will get beat down at UGA.

We will rally to finish 11-1.

We will defeat UGA in Atlanta.

We will not make the BCS game because 2 teams are undefeated.

My feeling is 10-2 minimum. I think they win at least 2 of the 4 games with AL, A&M, GA, and FL. They could win 3 IMO. My personal feeling is that by the time we play them the team will be hitting its stride on both O and D. The games that worry me the most at this time are TCU and Ole Miss. The question is will LSU be ready on Sept. 1st. This TCU team is pretty good. Ole Miss is earlier in the season than usual and is at Ole Miss. Ole Miss talks about the Egg Bowl and MSU and also AR, AU and AL, but they would consider the season a huge success if they went 4-8 and beat LSU. Every Ole Miss alumni I know would wet his pants if Ole Miss beat LSU in OXford.

one bad play may be the difference between 10-2 and 9-3....
it could go either way.
