NRA Convention today...Highlights.

Saw the Gunny Sgt. R. Lee at the Glock exhibit. The line for pictures was 150 deep...easy.
I put my hands on the Springfield XDs in 9mm. It will be out this year. Sooo, another CC pistol is about to hit the market.
I put my hands on the Sig MP and it is too cool for words. Stacked baffle with a sleeve that converts it into a suppressed PDW. 9, 40, and 357 sig are the chamberings.
Lots of other crap at the convention. It was packed. If you want to go look around and handle every Kimber and Spingfield 1911...here is your chance.
I was in Gun/Gear Overload. There was every AR builder on earth there. NUTS.
There were a lot of projection screens with lasers that you could practice your shooting at the house. Pretty cool stuff, but if you have a striker fired pistol...you have to run the slide after each shot. The lady did not like me asking this question....

It was a good showing for the Vendors.
I handled tons of Brownings. I saw an A5 in 3.5" that looked really nice...as did all the Brownings.
All the major gun manufacturers were there with everything imaginable. DPMS had a gallery of about 75 ARs you could handle and play with.
It was sensory overload.

Since I can't go I have a few questions.
Have you been by Remington's booth? I'm curious to see if their pissed off customers are railing them about staying in NY.
If you meet Hickok45, Nutnfancy, or ColionNoir, take pics. Those are some of the coolest YouTube firearms guys out there.
And regardless, take a bunch of pics. I would love to go out there but my finals will be keeping me inside unfortunately.

I may go back tomorrow or Sunday.
I did not go to the Remington Booth. It was packed though. I specifically did not go b/c or the 700 "bailout" stunt.
The most "Packed" exhibitor was Glock and Springfield...easily. Kimber has an awesome booth with every Kimber imaginable....and they make a lot of variants.
DPMS also has about every variant I could think of...as did SIG.
If anyone wants to put their hands on every gun imaginable and ask Company Reps tons of questions...here is a golden opportunity.
Bapple, I only took that pic of the Gunny. I did not want to be "that guy" snapping away.

I'll be there tomorrow. Can't wait to experience "gun heaven" as Glenn Beck called it today.
