Considering the fact that their stats are pretty much the same as they were when they played with the team, it's more than the system.

It doesn't matter. Both were equally as effective here as they are now in GS. The only difference here is the roles they play.

I wonder what the centerpiece of the return from that Jack trade is doing?

Am I the only person that paid attention to Jack last year? The guy can score, but he's horrible running an offense in the half court. I'd like to look at our stats on shot clock violations the last two years.

Vasquez = Jack. They both put up better than average stats starting on bottom 5 teams while half the fan base thought they were great and half the fan base hated the way they ran the team. Both are best suited as a combo guard off the bench.

I don't know why we didn't use him as a SG more when Paul was here. They were great on the court together and our only other option was Rocky

I prefer Vasquez getting up a bad shot late over Jack letting the clock expire. Neither is going to be an all-star, but I just feel like Vasquez has a higher basketball IQ. Jack just frustrated the shite out of me.

That's a tiny backcourt.

Neither would be as productive in this offensive scheme.

Me too. One or two people swore up and down that Jack was putting up empty stats and could never be on a winning team. He's found his perfect role in GS as the slasher and he's balling. Landry's hustle is missed too but I like Smith and Anderson better.

Jack's true value was in his leadership. I think what Monty did for him by letting him move on was a pretty classy move.
