says a coach that won't win any dealing with the two former AA teams..

funny thing at a baseball game I had a catholic league coach come up to me and say...
" I guess your son's school is scared now that they have to deal with 5a teams like us from the catholic league..."

my response.. NO not at all - they were undefeated vs 5a playoff teams last year....

Umm, Rummel won't face Curtis or Evangel in this year's proposed "playoffs" either.

If the LHSAA members plus Curtis and Evangel would have all agreed to have the two powers play all the way up to 5A just for football, this mess would not have reached this point.

Was told in a meeting that some magnet schools- Karr & Walker, have been allowed to play in the non-select playoffs.

Karr & Walker aren't magnet. They're charter. And if they're allowed to play in the non-select, the whole thing is a sham.

The public schools always want to bring up lack of attendance zones as a primary cause for private schools success. Well, those schools dont' have attendance zones either, why would they still be allowed to play in the non-select division?

Was thinking back to the days when Karr was a magnet , but was told by a coach from Walker that some charters have been allowed to play non-select, and yes Walker & Karr are among them.

that works both ways...

some of those teams won when Curtis was a 2A enrollment and played 4A. those titles might be a bit tainted since they didn't have to play the best 2A enrollment school for them...

That's why I used the word "proposed"....as in, the committee recommended 5 select divisions for this year and it is going to happen if this split isn't killed off beforehand.
