How early can I put out tailgating tent on Friday?

I want to grab a spot in the old Box parking lot on the south end for this Friday's LSU/UF game. I drop my kids off at school not far from there and want to put out my tent frame to hold my spot and come back around noon. Are there rules on BB tailgating defined by LSU?

you do realize the series starts Thursday?
we leave ours up all weekend.
ETA: so, i'd imagine putting your tent up early Friday won't be an issue.

Isn't that a commuter parking lot for students? It may not open till 4:30 on Friday. Idk though

You can set up your tent now, no one really cares. Just don't be surprised to see it for the last time if you leave it with all the ThugPOS on campus.

Things are pretty tough if you steal a tent frame with no cover. I guess the metal is worth $5 or so but hauling it to the scrapyard smacks of effort.
