Should we? Has played left and right tackle. For the right price, he could fill a hole for us.

So you want the Saints (who have limited cap space) to pick up someone who was so bad on the offensive line that the Cardinals released him just one year after giving him a 5 million dollar signing bonus (which means a bit of a cap hit)? Not gonna happen.

This is me thinking about this =

This is me thinking about how many more of these will pop up til the season starts:

I was just saying for strictly depth at the right price. Personally I do not think it will cost much to sign him, maybe vetrean minimum.

We can't afford depth at this point. We need to sign a viable starting LT or no one at this point.

I'm thinking we should sign every player any team releases. I want a roster of like 600.

We don't need depth at either spot. We have at least 1 vet and one project at each spot plus another body.

If anything we need a legit LT, and a better starting RT. We aren't able to afford the first(unless Mickey pulls a rabbit out of his arse again and does something like cutting Harper, Jenkins, and Strief; that, along with getting rid of Ivory, would give us about $7.4 mil to play with), but the second is possible but somewhat unlikely.

And I'm just remembering when we are talking about cutting guys we have to add about $500,000 back on as someone will take their spot in the top 51(most salaries out of the top 51 are around $500,000).

So Harper saves us $2.15 mil, Jenkins $2 mil, Strief $1.75(iirc), and Ivory saved us $1.5.

He also played some center last year for Cards.... So he can pretty much play every position serviceably. Cards release seemed to be more about money not justifying his play but he would still provide depth and a quality back up

There will be one of these for every player released between now and August.

Snyder started 14 games last season and was a frequent target of criticism. He also played hurt for most of the season after suffering an elbow injury a few days before the first game.

Personally I think he would actually come kinda cheap
