came from Scott Van Pelt. This comes after the Bama game last year. many of you have probably heard this but I thought it woudl be cool to post. the sound quality isn't the greatest but doesn't deter listening...

SVP is, hands down, the best sports talk on the radio. Seriously, this is hard to overstate.

I enjoy Mike and Mike too, but I really wish SVP had the morning spot so I could listen to them on my drive every morning.

I agree with this except i can't stand Mike and Mike. The only other thing on in the morning that I would consider listening to is Walton and Johnson, but they are unlistenable at this point. So I sit there in silence. SVP should just be on 24/7.

SVP was stating that the SEC was far better in football than any other league before all other national media finally had to agree.

"You can spare me your sarcasm, for people around the country that are gonna tell me whatever you want to tell me about they don't score this and that. Go there once, go there once and then talk. If you haven't been, no talkie."

Definitely Scott showed us some love, but ESPN not so much. Friday on college football live ESPN went on to talk about the great Bama in having 3 players drafted in a row and how their Oline will do with the departures. Then they went to Georgia with their 2 first round draft picks and how they would do. Oh yeah; NO mention of LSU having 2 first round draft picks. Kind of odd to me? Bama and Georgia were the only teams they talked about from the SEC.

Cowherd is terrible. He's an arrogant prick. Mike and Mike are pretty boring and they don't really play well off each other. SVP and Russillo have, by far, the best dynamic in national talk sports radio. There are others at a regional or city-wide level that may be better or as good, but SVP and Russillo are (a) funny, (b) engaging, and (c) well informed.

You are right. And the others are not even close.
