I'm with you on this. shite also gets heavy hauling it in and out of my public spots.

We use them, but honestly I think they flare ducks. They get their attention from far away, but flare them when they get close I prefer motion decoys in the water.

They really need to be banned up north in Canada and the Dakotas to make a difference. I've hunted dry fields with them and seen how totally different they are in that environment than down here over water. I don't use them at all anymore and I think I'm against banning them. Ducks will adapt one way or the other, and the guys willing to use layouts, full bodies, and jerk strings will get ahead with them still legal especially later in the season.
