PFT citing a legit publication is nothing like Bleacher Report.

anyway...you think they could teach this guy football. His measurables are off the charts.

Guess who else is in the running for visits...SF. Wish that cocky arse coach would go back to Pee Wee. I liked it better when they were irrelevant.

Want. This guy is a true physical specimen. Yes he has never played organized football so he would have to be coached up a lot but the one upside is wherever you try to put him you can teach him the position the way you want it played and he should (theoretically) be able to develop with no bad habits acquired from different coaches trying to teach him different things. He is a freaking Olympian which shows he should have tremendous drive to learn and practice.

Okoye, who placed 12th in the discus finals of the London Olympics last summer, turned heads at the NFL Super Regional Combine in Dallas, posting measurables that now have attracted the interest of a "double-digit number of teams."

Among those reportedly interested in drafting or signing Okoye are the San Francisco 49ers and the New Orleans Saints, who have hosted visits with the British Olympian.

Any old farts around here remember Bob Hayes? Only guy with an Olympic medal and a Super Bowl ring.

If he's anything like this Okoye, he'll be a stud.

I'm guessing that he's ultimately a DE. Based on his accomplishments in the discus, he already has a spin move that would make it difficult for any OT to stay in front of him, and he has the strength to throw linemen aside and shed blocks.

How interested are we in a true long-term project at DE?

this guy is probably a 3-4 DE. I hope he goes undrafted, although i wouldn't mind taking him in the 6th if needed
