I love our local fish-wrap, but did I miss something?

Box score shows:
Sciambra batted 0 for 1 (maybe I just missed it).

Edward went 3 for 5 (I didn't see one hit).

And no SEC standings (Should be included daily).

Schiambra pinch hit and struck out on 3 pitches.

Edward went 3-5..............in his dreams

LOL Edward 3 for 5 maybe with 3 strikeouts instead of hits...but I think he was actually 0 for 3

Sciambra did strikeout

Yeah, I saw that. The box score was off by one line. It looks like J. Jones was left off entirely but his stats were attributed to Alex Edward who was moved up one line in the box score.

Yep, I am sure the weenie fans are buying the BR paper now because of that.

Box score was full of errors. Dickslexic typos I am sure.

Yesterday, LSU's record was shown as 26-2.

They have to do a better job.

JaCoby is now 8-39 in SEC play. He needs to go 7 for his next 11 to jump back up to .300 in conference play.

They are trying to make that almighty 2 bucks from New Orleans subscribers by getting them the paper before midnight. That's called the New Orleans addition. Meanwhile because of that they don't have enough time to add any extra stories. So the NYtimes lookalike gives you less news for more bucks.

Here is the site that I use for baseball. It is updated constantly and has a lot of good info.

Yeah - I get live scores on a regular basis from the D-1 baseball webesite, but as far as I'm concerned, updated SEC standings are a MUST in a Baton Rouge newspaper and the area's heavy following of LSU baseball.

Instead, we had a huge front page and three or four first pages about the Women's Final Four (which was able to sell-out on Friday when a donor bought the last 500 tickets).

Absolutely!

Stats like these should be put in the paper at least once a week as well. Tuesday would be a good day.
