You are right sir. LSU's highest seeding has been #2.
The 8 National Super Seed Format didn't begin until 1999.
Since then LSU was the #2 seed in 2000 (Won the CWS by beating Stanford), the #2 seed in 2003, the #7 seed in 2008, the #3 seed in 2009 (Won the CWS by beating Texas) and the #7 seed in 2012 (Lost to Stony Brook in the Super Regional and did not advance to the CWS).
LSU made a CWS appearance in 2004 and was not a top 8 seed.

Is BA trolling LSU fans? I remember Fitt praising LSU and PM at every opportunity at the 2009 CWS. Didn't he predict Bregman to be the SEC player of the year? Is he down on LSU for some reason?
