With a pitching glitch? Sometimes just playing the computer with my pitcher or the computers pitcher pauses in the middle of the pitch then lets it go.

I'm having this issue but I assumed it was from the PS3 I was playing on; it's glitched on me while playing other games as well.

This is an ongoing issue. It is known in the community as stuttering. It happens right after the pitcher releases the pitch, and it completely throws off the timing of a swing. It sucks and they haven't found a true way to fix it.

There have been suggestions of basically de-fragging your PS3 hard drive, (condenses/deletes folders, removes music, etc.) You keep all your game saves, friends lists, etc. I have attempted this but I am still noticing the stutter lag, although not as much.

They also said that port forwarding is a good way to eliminate the stutter, but again, I haven't seen anything that says it is absolutely fixed.

The game devs are aware of the issue, and are working hard to fix it. They are saying that a patch should be out around opening day.

How about they give me my money back for having such a crappy game.

Come on now..

It's not an absolute game breaker. It sucks that it happens, but it's not every game, and it's not every pitch. It's still the absolute best sports game out there.

It kills the online play. I lost a game online with two on, 2 out with frickin Ryan Howard up.

Looks like changeup right down the middle. Game glitches. Fastball on the outside. Struckout. Game over.

It's a shitty flaw that'd have been found out within a hour of testing. Hell, it's even doing it in my offline games.

This is called just rolling out a product because it's the same crap every year with new rosters. I havent bought the Show since 09 I think so, it's worth it from my POV. With the glitches, I don't know.

It doesn't kill online play at all. Yes, it happens when you are playing online, but i've gone plenty of games where it didn't happen once. If you read change up down the middle, and it was a fastball outside, then you need to develop a better eye for hitting. Also, there is no way you can read a pitch when it does the stutter glitch because it's almost immediately after the pitcher releases the ball.

It sucks that you lost a game that way, but it's not like you get a trophy for winning or anything.

Have you tried to defrag your hard drive? I initially thought that my console had too much data on it, that was causing the glitch. (It's glitched on me while playing NCAA and Madden too) Yesterday I deleted a lot of old game files and it still freezes up. I'm thinking a complete system restore could possibly fix the problem. Opinions?

It has helped a little bit. It can't hurt your PS3 so that's a plus. I am also hard wired in to my connection, so I don't see a lot of the same lag issues that others may.
