Are you trying to out-retard yourself in this thread?

Because you're succeeding.

Yeah.... hell Pats could have gone 6.5 at least or 7 for a guy who has been Brady's security blanket for 6 years. Especially at a 3 year deal or so

Do you know what market value is?

yes, and i seriously doubt that was all he could make. Free agency period is a day old.

Apparently it was. His phone wasnt heating up at all. This is his last chance at a big contract, he wouldnt take that huge of a pay cut to go to Denver. He wanted to get paid, he couldnt.

But if he could of made more somewhere else, why wouldnt he say "screw Ne" and go to that time and get paid more

because his best shot at screwing over NE is playing with Denver. Its like a direct F-U to them, imo

Im just going by the reports that are out there. This was his market value that wasnt that high because the slot receiver market is flooded and hes on the wrong side of 30 at a very specific scheme position

He will lose 20 catches 400 yards and 5 td by not doing his yearly bills murder twice

If he could have gotten 9 million, he would have taken it

not saying he had an offer that big. Im saying that is what he was paid last year.

regardless $6mil is a discount for someone who caught 240 balls over the last 2 years.

Now you are making a different argument than market value

Hey Lester, it is ok.... Welker isn't valuable and easily replaceable plus he drops a lot of balls and doesn't have the "clutch" gene

I've read these comments over past couple weeks from various posters

i never said $9mil was market value, just what he made last year.

i dont think $6mil is either. Probably somewhere between the 2 figures is what he really deserved, thus making the $6mil he got a discount.

I understand what hes saying. I mean he is the best slot WR by far. Id think hes worth 8.5 a year for 2-3 more years. I think its below his value for what he does. shite look ar what mike wallace got. Amd who woukf u rather for the jedt two years?
