To be fair, JJ had the luxury of sitting the bench and watching JL implode. No way he was going to make bad decisions with the football after that, nor would Crowton and Miles allow it. Probably explains why he took so many bad sacks.

Probably both. Neither ever really developed quality QB skills like reading the defense and maintaining some pocket presence. Both were poorly developed.
